The Expert’s Opinion
Fetească Regală from Dealu Mare who raises even higher the bar already well positioned by her sisters from Târnave. The color of the wine is straw yellow, and the nose is fresh, grassy and mineral. The taste brings a complex combination of ripe yellow fruits (white peach, bergamot pear, mango), sweet bitter citrus (grapefruit, pomelo) and aromatic herbs (rosemary, basil). It has a creamy body, almost oily, but with a piercing acidity and extremely well integrated alcohol. An intense, long and sophisticated wine, with a good aging potential in the bottle.
