On the label of this line, we see a stylized dragonfly, a symbol with a long history at Domeniile Franco-Române. This emblem has been embedded in the mosaic of the tasting room since 2000, when winemaker Denis Thomas, a native of the renowned Burgundy region, established Romania’s first organic vineyard in Dealu Mare. Following the 2020 merger with “Domeniile Persu-Eminescu,” the hoopoe was adopted as the symbol of this line, thus becoming a representative element of our winemaking values and traditions. This choice reflects our commitment to sustainability and excellence, offering a wine that delights the senses and tells the story of the region and its Francophone heritage.
