In 2020, the Franco-Romanian Domains were taken over by a group of Romanian investors with a tradition in viticulture, who intend to continue the story of the Săhăteni winery and share the joy of Romanian wines with lovers of good wines.
Mihnea Mihalache and Mihnea Olariu, the two young investors, propose a new vision for the Franco-Romanian Domains. Although the winery is in full rebranding process, the new investors want to honor the work of the founder Denis Thomas and to be present as soon as possible on the market of specialized stores, physical and online in the country and abroad.
Future plans include the transition of the entire vineyard to BIO culture and the establishment of a charging station for electric cars with solar energy from the panels already installed on the roof of the building.
In addition to the renovation and modernization works already started with own funds, it is planned to increase the storage and winemaking capacity of the winery through European co-financing.
