This acronym for Domeniile Franco-Române appears on the labels following the 2020 merger with “Domeniile Persu-Eminescu.” The story of the Dealu Mare winery began in 2000, when the foundations were laid for Romania’s first organic vineyard, under the guidance of the talented winemaker Denis Thomas. This initiative contributed to the development of a modern viticultural culture that blends tradition with innovation, offering superior-quality wines that reflect the region’s unique character.
